oculus rift + arduino / augmenting oculus rift's virtual reality experience with physical computing

In this project the client asked for a platform that could sense the position of an user walking over it and send the user's position data to Unity in order to control content generation. A system involving relay switches as step sensors, Arduino and Processing was implemented to transmit real time position of the user via an OSC messaging system. A computer running an Unity application received the information and updated Oculus's 3D view according to the position received.
